latio, good or not har?

Hi, was thinking of getting an OPC latio, anyone has any 2 cents worth on how this car is (in terms of safety and reliability, my 2 main concerns)?
At $38k, seems like a good buy, with $500 more for leather seats and sports rims. If comments are fine, i think i will book this weekend.
But I dun seems to see many latios on the road, any idea why?

Heard from friends that the new sunny (don't know they will still name it as sunny) will be out soon and Latio is launched "in-between" this period.

Only SG still has the SUNNY version. Malaysia and US for instance already calls it SENTRA
Latio is not really a in between. Cos not every country like Malaysia has the Latio model -
New sunny sounds good, but hey, wat abt my latio? anyone got any comments on latio?

what i heard from many drivers out there, latio in hokkien is like lao jio, (urine) no offense, heard from my lecturer, its a drinker & not much power in it. but stylish i have to say, the black lation with the kit. just my 2 cents.

Latio does not allow fast startup, but it is much smoother...

why don't u test drive it and see it for yourself instead of asking in here for views? different people offers different views. ultimately it is your view on the car that matters bcos u r going to drive that car everyday, sit in it everyday, see it everyday, wash it once every few days, service it once its not in pristine condition etc.
anyway, i don't really like nissan cars. FC sucks. but one gd thing i can comment on is that Latio has some pretty nice interior (the highest end model). but this feels like too uncle car for me. if u wanna get, get the hatch? -
Nissan these days looks very into the design of cars unlike other rivals such as Toyota. Hence, Nissan cars do have xtra edge in terms of design

FC i tot shld be ok, abt 13-14, according to mycarforum.com...
why i chose it was because it seems to offer such good interior, okay FC and spacious car for such reasonable price (56k for sedan, pearl white please!). sorry i like the sedan, prefer cars with butt... haha

white interior is nice but kinda difficult to maintain? so what color will u be getting? white exterior too? maybe red ext. with white int. is nice? happy shopping n remember to grab lots from the SE too.

Uncle or ah pek, it's quite subjective and personal.
In my opinion, altis has an even more uncle or ah pek look. -

I thought the new one will be call SELPHY or something like that?
SENTRA is just the alternative name to Sunny. since Sunny is not appropriate in malaysia and sounds too gay in north america. haha
Anyway, Latio is a good car. i like it. -

I think there are not many Latios on the road because many people do not like its looks... and more importantly, its price (compared to 1.6L cars like Sunny, Lancer, Altis etc).

Latio FC can fight with Vios/Altis loh. Its FC is similar to Vios and some even better than Altis.

Latio to me is a car belonging to a different class altogether.
CAnnot directly compare with Altis, Vios, and other 1.6
to me it is just a "hi tech" 1.5l car.
With the keyless entry, Plasma Cluster... people who buy latio understands the rational behind the higher price. -

its a fact that nissan cars are heavier and thus resulted in the drop in FC (as compared to other makes n models locally)
