I'm not a Latio owner but i've seen it in the showrooms before and must say that the rear legroom is indeed very generous... in fact it feels about as roomy as the Cefiro's.

I've personally compared both and the latio does not come close. -

May be becos latio rear seats are adjustable, meaning can push forward or backward. Such a flexible seats arrangement is really versatile in my opinion.
That's why it appears that its rear legroom is comparable to cefiro. -

I'm driving a latio sport. The sales people claimed that FC can be as good as 15k/l to 16km/l but mine is nothing close. Told them the various problems of the car but most problems are still not rectified.
I would like to ask other latio owners out there to see if anyone is getting approx 15km/l? Are you guys also facing problems with the car?

FC depends a lot on how heavy you are on the accelarator and how often you brake. If you are heavy footed, you'll be lucky to get 11km/l out of the latio !!! -
funny that this topic came up just as i was actually thinking about this very car
i kinda like hatches and tot that this version is a more viable option to the sedan.. which.. to me is butt ugly..

I've quite a few problems with my Latio but most upset
with the FC and the poor standard of service from the various Nissan service centres.
Just on the FC problem alone, the salesperson from 2 diiferent showrooms also used the FC as one of their selling points. Said it would be able to achieve about 15-16km/l. One even claimed that it achieved 19km/l under test condition in Japan (I didn't really believe that). So I thought it should not be too far away even if they exaggerated abit more, perhaps 14km/l?
Subsequently when I feedback to the svc ctr about the low FC, they arranged for engine tuning, saying it should improve it. When there was no improvement, I went to another svc ctr hoping that it'll be better. Again there was no improvement. I was about to gave up pursuing the low FC issue thinking that the salesperson was just bullsh*ting until my colleague who saw my Latio asked me about the FC and told me that his friend who drive the same model can get around 15km/l. I brought it up to the svc ctr again on my last svcg and the guy who attended to me didn't deny those claims. He told me maybe not 15-16km/l but should get about 14km/l. He also arranged for engine tuning but till now there is still no improvement at all.
I just came across another earlier threads that a guy managed around 15.5km/l on his Latio. I'm trying to find out more from him (if he's still on the subject)...
Oh btw, did I mention that I used only Octane 98 petrol, I'm very light on the pedal and my travel pattern is about 75% expressway and 25 % urban driving. -

Close to 20,000km now. I also thought it should improve by now.
My patience is running out... will be sending them a letter to register my disappointment.. Hope they'll take it more seriously this time round and rectify all problems once and for all when I go for my 20,000 km servicing.. -

if urs the CVT especially... try keeping to it.. sometimes it does not mean that u keep ur rpm below 2k all the way means u should be saving fuel..
what r the other problems that u face? -
hi all, test drove the latio sport this aftn.. the ride is not too bad though.. the SE kept assuring me 14km on 1l is no prob... dunno how true is this la.. can we get more feedbacks from latio owners pls? also, wat are the freebies u can get from the SE? cos from wat i see, the car already comes with leather seats n sport rims.. nothing much to ask for liao eh.. sorry for my list of questions, first time buyer so pretty clueless..
