Any one owns the new Ford Focus hatch ?

Hi people,
i am currently on the lookout for my 1st set of wheels and i have streamlined it to the Ford Focus hatchback 1.6 A. I test driven it along with other cars including the Pug 307 and Renault Megane. But the dyanamic of the Focus edges out the rest.
Does anyone in the forum own this model ? Any comments will be great. -
hey, i just came back from the showroom.. u eyeing the trend or the ghia model? care to say y u chose the focus over other cars? thx..

hmm ...the Ghia model most probably. How much is it now ?? I think its the road handling of the focus that has the edge over the others. Build quality is on par with the rest. Unless i can convicne myself to buy a Golf .....thats also another car on my list, but its kinda of stretching the dollar abit more -

IMHO, the pug 307 is overpriced in SG, the renault megane is more of comfort rather than driving dynamics.
The MKII focus offers relatively good handling when compared between the two above mentioned models. However the megane and 307 offer better equipment and frills. Still, since you enjoyed the focus drive i encourage you to work your finances out becos the focus is quite value for money. Forget what people say about its reliability; i havent encountered any with mine albeit its the previous generation model.

Ford's pretty a reliable car IMO.My friend's dad Mondeo been ard for 5 yrs and its still pretty well fitted. So i'm not too concerned abt the pricing.
But itseems that not many ppl in sgforums do drive ford cars aye ? Their new Focus is blazing down the WRC tracks ..the car to watch ... -

hi one-niner, the ghia is gg for 72900 based on the latest prices.... abit steep for me after doing my sums last nite...

N/A ST provides a good challenge to the WRX. Hmm u intending to take a 10 yr loan ?
