We are a bunch of slackers who, even though already have a forum website, still insist to "leech" onto this sgforums. Cos instead of wasting time to do Moderation, the Marchies would rather drive out their favourite ride for kopi session and have a life.

The Marchies here share the same passion in their March K12, and anything the March allows them to do. They have the following attributes:

Aiyaaa, no wonder i haven't been able to view the last page of part V, haha...you guys are now onto part VI, wow!

Hey, i have a Q to ask you guys since i'm clueless about car parts, oops - my marchie's engine or dunno-what (that same part which vibrates when you start a car) vibrated more violently yesterday when i came to a stop after driving for about 15 mins on a moderately rainy day. The jerky-ish vibrations stopped after i switched to neutral and then back to drive - unsure if they stopped 'cos of that....any advice on what i should do?

maybe you can tell us more? i suspect its the same thing that happened to me, but only once in my life so far. think my engine was wet then, after some heavy washing/spraying.

just dis-engage to neutral and step on accelerator to keep the engine running ok before you engage D again, should be ok after that.

I have happen to stumble on this march club forum and drop in here to look for a very cool dress up march featured in April’s motoring magazine on page 78, does he happen to be part of this trend or member. I drive a '05' k12 march, wondering if I can get some tips to enhance the looks/basic tuning of my elegance from him ! better for me to try my luck here.

Does any one here customs their stock kit ?

Questions for you to start your diagnose on your ride, 1st step diagnostic guide before heading back to TC to run ECU check on your “engine knocking”.
Is not that simple as A, B , C , and mention a few words ! is tough for you to explain. Hope the following can give u some guide.

When was your last servicing done and at what mileage.

1. Do you hear knocking noise increases when u accelerate more, and car speed doesn't change. Is there a lost of power ?

The chances of accelerating more to keep the engine running will cause more harm to the pistons and cams. DO NOT try to drive it hard or even step on the pedals to pump more gas, more damage than any good.

2. Did you check engine light comes on and stays there during knocking, before you push your gear to “N”. when you start you engine does it gives off thick visible white smoke from your tail pipe " exhaust".

3. It could be automatic transmission problem or more than 10 possibilities of other problems.

Conclusion:
You might need to run a ECU test with TC asap.
At this moment you are unable to point out the cause of the knocking, and it is difficult to identify the root problem by yrself. Is safer to head back to TC for a check up, since you are under warranty the only place for you is TC ?
