Car smashes into wall of house, one passenger killed
SINGAPORE: A car smashed into the wall of a house along Still Road just before midnight on Friday, leaving one dead, four injured and the driver arrested.
Police said the driver was travelling along Still Road towards Eunos Link when he was believed to have lost control of his vehicle.
The car veered towards the left side of the road, mounted a road kerb and hit a tree before colliding into the wall of the house.
"When the car hit, the electricity went off, water pipes burst and water shot up. My kids were very frightened, there was boom! boom! bang," said Mary, the house owner.
The passenger seated in the back left seat of the car suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene at about midnight.
The driver, together with the front-seat passenger and two other passengers in the rear, were rushed to Changi General Hospital.
"I tried to pull out one female passenger. She was screaming and saying it hurt in her leg and chest. I tried to pull out the other two female passengers but couldn't manage," said Mary.
The driver was arrested but has since been out on bail.
Police are requesting for witnesses to call their hotline at 1800-547-1818. - CNA/ir

I think the traffic police should also start talking abt how dangerous cars can be, rather than just talking abt how motorbike accidents make up 55%.
Almost every other day can see several cars get into accidents.
And the cars on ECP speed like nobody's biz.
I wonder if it's because class 3 too easy to pass?

another good for nothing faggot speeding on the road, thinking his skills are good but in fact very lousy and weak, very poor control, navigation skills and spatial judgement, can't even control his vehicle properly, f ucking s hitbird
don't speed lah, speeding kills
once in your life if you have crashed your vehicle before on singapore roads, then you are considered a weak and below-average driver already, this is the hard truth
u are not that type of driver who can do it fast,
then in the future u better do it the slow and safe way, that is to keep left and observe speed limit and drive like a P or L plate driver
for the sake of other innocent road users and also your family members and yourselves
frankly speaking, singaporeans are generally very poor and weak in their driving and steering wheel control. On our roads, you don't see many drivers signalling when making a turn or changing lanes, this is because most singaporeans are actually not skilful enough to signal, check mirrors and turn their steering wheel at the same time in one movement and at high speed, shame on these people who have difficulty signalling, To put it bluntly, these bunch of pathetic poor drivers are either having problems with their hand coordinations and steering wheel control, or are extremely poor in spatial ability road navigation and indecisive on which route to use. This handicapped phenomena is apparent among speedsters and inexperienced taxi drivers who are not able to signal when they are speeding. These bunch of drivers whose skills and techniques are below average should go and enrol for driving refresher's course and polish up their god damn driving skills.Edited by No_10_Tomas 03 Dec `06, 12:43PM
