for age wise,this is usually the regulations for renting out of performance cars. racing clutch no half clutch

using racing clutch still need half clutch to move slowly...racing clutch usually feels heavier on the clutch pedal..it bites better to the engine at high speed..some car with stock clutch and mod engine the problem will be the clutch starts to slip at high speed like around 140+km/h...so to solve prob use racing clutch..so wont slip...Originally posted by fckes:racing clutch no half clutch -

Can try search website put under SINGAPORE WEB ONLY n slowly u search which i had come across a website name 88db or something like tt, which there's an EVO 6 at $150 for wk day n $180 for wk end per day use. but requirement no idea.

too much torque some stock clutch cannot take it arh?
so how is racing clutch diff? someone mentioned abt half clutch and stuffs?

Clutch slip not necessary at high speed of the car.. but rather high speed in the RPM. Just imagine... 7000 rpm, how fast is it rotating.
Normally from 7000rpm, increase 1 gear up will drop it to around 4.5 to 5k rpm.
When rotating at such a high speed, sometimes normal clutch will miss or slip due to insufficient grip.
Racing clutch or dry clutch, reduces the possibilites not 100 % maybe 99 %.
If you are a normal driver.. no point chaning it to dry clutch... unless you always chiong and see the redline on the rpm.
