how to go up a slope?

  the handbrake method you people have mention eariler.
  
  second,
  hit gas a little hard and release cluth immediately to make wheel spin. although you might not roll back, but you confirm failed on spot.

  this works! but i usually half clutch will rev drop to around 2 then release hand brake...

  Diesel engine can feel vibration easily
  But not petrol engine...
  Stalled the engine a couple of times when I made the transition from diesel to petrol

  u will haf no problem feelin the vibration of a lancer..
  
  i dun look at rpm meter 1.. all is hweeeeling.. tat's y my instructor always scold mi y drag gear..

  L Platers do this to your examiner when you are going up the slope and i'm sure he will be amazed.

  Singapore has steep slope, eh?
  
  I used to drive abroad, and I had a really bad exp. So I did what people do:
  
  1. step on the brake
  2. engage the e-brake
  3. step on the gas to 1500-2500rpm
  (but when I do so, the car starts to fall back )
  4. so I stepped on the brake again
  5. then at the same time, right foot slam the gas, left foot release clutch by half
  6. then i started smelling burn on my clutch

  just dun thorw ur clutch and make ur wheels spin like crazy >_>
