Of cos being light-footed = slow. faster pick-up = petrol finish fasterrrrr. You want power, you have to sacrifice more $$$ to fuel cost. You want to have better FC, then you must learn to be more patient on the road.

One of the factors that can cause increase in FC is tyre pressure. If your tyres are not inflated enough, that means more contact surface between the tyre tread and road... which means more friction to overcome. But that doesn't mean you can pump your tyres like balloon... it will affect wear and ride comfort.
Another way you might want to learn is, throttle control... or just basically being light-footed lah. If the road is sloping down, you can ease off the pedal. Going up, learn NOT to rev uneccessarily just to compensate loss of speed when driving up incline. You don't really need to get from one traffic light to the other that urgently right?

Just remember... there is no such thing as more power and better FC at the same time. If still not satisfied with your ride, go get a hybrid car instead.
