    • I don't think anyone can make the decision for you if they don't know u leh,... cos I think the car must match the person... let me try...

Honda Civic: most sporty of the lot?
      Honda Accord: most luxurious, affluent-looking?
      Mazda 6: sporty but practical?
Legacy: an in-between mix between sporty, practical, and spacious?

-Well I'd get the Civic in manual, more bang for the buck. Consumption quite ok, depends on driver. It holds its own yet not too intimidating. Very elegant.

-Accord is too pricy, although has the looks. But still wouldn't recommend it.

-Legacy is pretty decent, but like a few have mentioned, drinks petrol like an Irish man in a pub... Wink

-Mazda 6 is gorgeous but with a catch, chassis too heavy. Power to weight ratio is not very good. Comsumption will be a problem.

Accord price is about the same as civic 2.0A..Have considered manual too but OC prefers auto.

Is Mazda 6 really that underpowered? How about the accord JDM

Actually,Mazda 6 and civic has got more features compared to accord and legacy2.0R.ie;Mazda 6 and civic has got steering audio controls and cruise control which legacy and accord dont.

Well, like most peeps here in SGForums would say, "It depends on what kinda person you are and what kinda car speaks to you." Statistics aside, it boils down to what you really want in a car. For example, the cruise control is only practical on long haul trips, say KL or Thailand. Not for SG highways.

These gadgets on the steering are just an added bonus. Ask yourself this, "Which car makes you feel like driving it all day, everyday...?" Pick something that falls between being proud of stepping out and one that doesn't burn a gaping hole in your monthly petrol expenses. Hope you find your perfect match. Smile

If ur leaning towards these 2... the difference is..

Civic - collect car about 3-4 months after u pay up (average)
Mz6 - should be half that amount of time (can recommend u SE for mazda too)

      Wink

Would depend on what he is looking for i guess. If he places driving enjoyment above all else.. little in that list can beat the leggy..

In my opinion, manual cars are hopelessly impractical in tiny Singapore where traffic lights and jams are what will likely dominate your driving experience.

Between the 4 cars you listed, i'd go for the Civic. Nice and futuristic dashboard design, youthful exterior, with a decent amount of interior space.
Btw, there must be a reason why most Civic owners go for the 1.8L version rather than the 2.0L one...

The other 3 models look kinda dated...
