      Hi would like to know if i do not have a salary job but able to pay monthly installment for the car can i still buy the car? izzit true that i cant loan from the bank if i dont have income statement? or can anyone tell me what must i do to buy a car if i do not have a fixed salary job?

      Oh coz i’m not working, and i asked a car dealer before, he said i need income statement. Just wanted to confirm is that true? or actually the bank just need a guarantor? Thanks for replying

      the bank just wan to confirm u are working and is able to pay the installment. thats all… most likely they will call the company and ask if the person is working there anot only

      alt. u can try get a loan from the bank u hv all ur cold hard cash stash in …. maybe they can work out smthing for u

      Cool quite difficult. Alternatively, you can get someone close to you to be your hirer. Bank unlikely to entertain you unless you got healthy bank account which you can try.

      Anyway trying got no obligation.

      The bank requires income proof (last 3 months' pay slips) or last 6 mths CPF contribution record. Since u don't have a job, get a guarantor.
      And to get the loan successfully, find some1 whose min. income is more than $2.8k (depends on the loan amt), with no bad debts or existing loans themselves .

      my family paid in full cash for the mazda6..

      my mum is housewife and my dad is no longer ard.

      we bought the car under my sister's name.. she had income statement and stuff...

      dunno about ur case..
