eh i disagree again to a certain extent.. this is only true for a short distance.. however if you try to cover long distances (in the singapore sense) greater than 20km, it does make a difference. especially if lets say the faster car passes the light on amber, and u reach the light on red, naturally u have to stop, but he has just saved maybe 5 mins if your red light is 5 mins..
u go faster to make it through the traffic light green light cycles earlier.
and of course if you go faster on the expressway you will reach ur destination earlier..
