  hello everyone, i got a qsn to ask. whenever we brake do we need to press clutch and press brake? is this only apply to complete stop?
  
  if let say i was driving at 60km/h, and i step on brake..no need to step on clutch right? until when the car is slowing down to 20km/h then i step on clutch again then brake to bring it to complete stop?

  You have to drop the gear if you do not want to press on the clutch. Because at 60kph you will most likely be in gear 4, and unless you drop to like gear 2 or 3, most probably your engine will stall if you still remain in gear 4.
  
  If you want to drop from 60kph to 20kph without dropping gear, then you have to clutch in while braking. Not recommended though.

  clutch in go to free gear then brake all the way till stop

  You only clutch in BEFORE you brake when in first gear. The other gears is brake FIRST before clutching in as the car is about to come to stop.

  You clutch in to prevent the engine from stalling.
  At 60 kmph, when you step on the brake, you slow down. If you do not clutch in, you will begin to feel the engine knocking. Clutch-in to prevent further knocking and stalling. With practice you can automatically clutch in and shift to a lower gear as you slow down, and have the engine running smoothly. This skill is useful in a traffic jam.
