enquiries on my car

  hi,
  
  need help,
  
  currently posted overseas for 8 mths and have no plans to sell of my car as i have did lots of mods on it and won't want to lose the effort.
  
  If i park in HDB car park with season ticket, and i cover up my car, will they fine me or sth? how will they check if this car got buy a season ticket or not?
  
  2ndly, if i am not driving for so long, can i dun pay my road tax as my current road tax ends this august,and i wun be driving the car for more than half a year. If can, wat should i do to inform LTA? any links or numbers??

  season ticket is something they paste on their windscreen and we got very hardworking parking wardens to check every car..
  
  and no matter what, you also have to pay road tax until you sell off the car.
  the gahmen wants money only.

  there are many things need to take note.. but i advise u lend to your relative or someone to use..
  
  you are away for 8 mths..
  
  - your car needs to turn on engine and run at least once a week or so for ard 10 mins? in case your battery runs out..
  
  - u need pay road tax even u are not using the car..
  
  - its also recommend to get the car washed at least once a month...
  
  etc...

  get a trusted friend or relative loan to him lor. Let him use the the car and pay the petrol himself lah.

  Car if too long never use, engine oil will sink back into the oil sump..so when starting engine the next time, very damaging to the engine..and of cuz, battery will also go flat..and the tyres will also spoil if the car is parked there for too long because the tyres keep sitting in the same position, it will go out of shape and it will no longer be round..
  
  So lend it to your friend or relatives with no cars to let them use it for you..it's only for the better of your car..

  like to ask...season parking gt quota 1 anot ? like 1 estate can have a quota per car park.....
