It's time to say goodbye to my Nikon D70s that i have been using
for my photoshoots since August last year. And finally, the last
photoshoot that this camera will be involved in will be the car
that keeps motivating me. Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. This camera
has served me well, it's time for it to retire... any interested
takers? selling the body only. PM me for price. Future photoshoots
will be brough to you by Nikon D300. So here's a picture of the
Vanquish by D70s... More pictures can be seen at my website.
<a href="http://www.vanq.net" rel=

RX-8 on the expressway) it is best done straight rather than being
tilted.

The latter does not work for me since tilting gives a
distraction.

hexy has said it all. tilting give s totally different feel to
the pic, or else it will look very plain and dead.

Hmm i dont really agree.. I feel that tilting makes a photo look
livelier. Sometimes straight angles make the pic look boring. For
me i like tilted pics.
For the white RX8 pic, it wont be as nice if not for the tilting.

lol anyway it's yr opinion. i have lots of pics after the
chevron markings, but prefer the st james background rather than
the vivocity background. lol u break rule of third later some
fellow come say u shld apply rule of third. motion shots shld use
the rule of third as well, it looks rather boring and plain
everytime when the car is in the same place.

Originally posted by HeXy:

Ok here's my humble C&C IMHO..

I feel for the first pic, the backgound is too complicated liaoz..
The buildings are quite distracting.. The lighting not too ideal
too.. Low light on the car means the buildings stand out more.
Maybe can use flash to light up the cars?

2nd pic slightly overexposed, but u created that 'drifting' effect,
which is nice! The 'driver' inside looks like hes drifting too..

3rd pic.. BG too comlicated too.. Esp the fugly 'DANGER' and the
board.. lol..

4th pic.. Great shot. BG's theme complements the car's
decals.

5th pic.. The object is too small in the frame le.. Can try to
signal to the driver of the subject car to drive closer to u. Or
call the driver of ur camera car to slow down. And not to forget it
looks overexposed too.. Chevron markings quite distracting too..
Maybe can wait till the car moves next to those railing.

My 2cents of crap.

Thanks bro for yr comments.

First pic i understand, can tell it is underexposed also. Dark
clouds were gathering and no tripod. My bad. Well tried to create a
moody feel, but failed.

2nd pic i thnk the colour is ok la, no harsh lighting details for
me.

As for 3rd pic, the DANGER word is deliberately framed in the
picture to elaborate that the car is dangerous.

4th pic, main reason why i went to that location is because of this
car, looks like it worked out.

5th pic ar, rule of third la... road
markings all these no choice, no matter wat as long as u r on sg
roads doing photoshoot, it's pretty hard to avoid, esp with traffic
giving u pressure from the back. 3 cars hoggin the road <img title=

C&C welcome.

<img title="Laughing" src=
