so i was supposed to buy lunch for my family at kg chai chee seafood restaurant along changi rd just now ard 1.30pm.. after circling changi rd/sims ave east for 3 times for a parking lot, i just parked along lor sarina where there's a double yellow line. there was a blue van infront of me unloading stuff so i thought it was alright to just park there for a few minutes..

i locked the car and walked over to the restaurant and placed my order. then, looking back at the car, there was SBST bus 33 making a turn into lor sarina. then, i realised, knn, 33 turns there! i rushed back to my car. the bus only did a half turn and the doors were open.

the van was gone. there, the BC already taking pictures of my car with his hp. i quickly said sorry sorry to which i kena a strew of i-dono-wad-vulgarities they were. an old ahpek passenger too joined in. i just rushed in, start the car and move off. of course i had to circle around again to find a lot. restaurant owner was like, "eh u go where? buy food, pay already den disappear!" i told him what happened and he just laughed it off. i was still damn anxious lah.

wah now i just waiting for either a letter frm TP/ROV or a feature in STOMP. that short stretch of lor sarina should have double yellow zig-zag lines man.

friday(yesterday) - my rear skirt and bodywork up to the fuel tank there came off because i reverse and hit the concrete thing on the lot(but my car not fully in the lot yet). had to drive all the way to workshop with the bodywork hanging for dear life to get it fixed.

BC wont be so zai as to be able to upload your pic to STOMP la. He will submit to the Bedok routemaster who will then submit to HQ or TP.. Driver got monetary reward for doing this leh.

That Telok Kurau/Changi Road area looks like its a Its-OK-To-Park-Illegally area. It perpetualy has illegal parked vehicles. Most do so without causing an obstruction.
You should have parked illegally with more graciousness.

yeah the old ahpek was really extra. very energetic ah the elderly. shouldnt give up my seats to the elderly in trains/buses anymore.

i still think the bus can still turn actually. well judging by buses frm other services which can turn into small lanes carefully..

I don't think the BC will have the time to upload the photo, compose and send a letter to the TP because it is too time consuming and time wasting, especially when you have to write down all the essentials like time, date, location, etc etc.

And even with the photographic proof, it is possible for you to appeal because you can say that you are only stopping to load/unload passengers, as the yellow lines allow for that, and even with photographic evidence, the interpretation can vary, unless he took a prolonged video of the whole incident.

After all the BC wont have too much free time, why would he risk his job, especially there is investigation, statements to take, etc etc etc.

As for the ahpek, don't care about him la. He probably has nothing else better to do and craves for the little bit of excitement in his otherwise mundane and boring life.

As for the S33... hor hor, someone too reliant on car already lah!

bus driver dont guai guai drive bus, take pics, increase cost, no wonder we pay more.

sbs transit and smrt both quotes manpower costs as main reason for fare hikes.

and given the attitude (vulgarities?) and quality of drivers, i seriously ain't convinced.
