wah now i just waiting for either a letter frm TP/ROV or a feature in STOMP. that short stretch of lor sarina should have double yellow zig-zag lines man.
you could have instead park further up the road or park at the main road but instead you try to point out the blue van illegal parking to convince yourself that you're not the only one at fault then you start saying that the bus only made a half turn then alight to take pics of your illegal parked car (pretty unlikely as most ppl would have try to neg. the turn or sound the horn 1st and its either you didn't realised or the bus might have been there more than a short while) and after which you said they should have had double yellow zig-zag lines instead, all these to me seems more like you're trying to push away your fault.
i'm not trying to say i hope that you get yourself up STOMP or summon by TP (and btw ROV don't get involved in such cases so you wouldn't get a letter from them) but just want to point out that you could have been alot more considerate than that in this instance. -

the reason why i gave the idea of changing it into the double yellow zig-zag lines is not because i want to push the blame. i just hope other drivers do not follow my footstep and park there when they're desperate because hey, it's a straight double yellow line on a two-lane lorong. hopefully no more repeat occurences which i strongly believe will take place in the future. i too believe it's not S33 BCs' first time for such an event taking place there.
the blue van parking infront of me was purely psychological. it's what we call the monkey see, monkey do application. which i fell for at my own disadvantage.
as i said, i've always been a transport enthusiast myself(you can check w/ nightsky87 or sbst275). my suggestions are just ways to improve our roads here for all road users.
now what i can do is just wait... waiting really drives me off the wall.

wednesday - kena 8-10 bird droppings at east coast park carpark.
friday(yesterday) - my rear skirt and bodywork up to the fuel tank there came off because i reverse and hit the concrete thing on the lot(but my car not fully in the lot yet). had to drive all the way to workshop with the bodywork hanging for dear life to get it fixed.
today - this.
