China also have VW car and it one of the top selling car there.Originally posted by the Bear:uhhh... China Chinese friends.. sorry but they only have Chinese cars there.. whate are they comparing their cars to?
other Chinese cars?
i dunno..
clicky here => Crash Test
this is a crash test of a Chinese SUV.. the people in such a crash should get away unscathed... but the crash test dummies are totally destroyed..
drive carefully yah?
it was said that if you want to hit anything in a car crash, you pray that you hit a made in china car.. because your own survivabilty is dramatically improve if you hit a made in china car... while they're dead meat
No matter how safe your car is, accident do happend.Originally posted by vertmonyet:if you were yo get involved in an accident , i doubt would be anything serious.
hafei also cant reach high speed , and make sure you REALLY drive carefully.
who knows even if youre not speeding , but the other guy is?
just drive carefully with that car.
true about it being suitable for your needs.
So is it the car or the nature of 'female driver'Originally posted by sinicker:hey this car.
that time along expressway this car signal right. female driver.
no one gave way. everyone kept closing up the gap infront of their cars.

60% of product recalls in the USA are china-made products.Originally posted by silversurfer_41:no doubt its chinese, but nowadays their products are blooming in the market.
Thank you for understanding me!Originally posted by silversurfer_41:To the TS, congrats on your new car! Make sure you enjoy your ride yeah...
I agree with you that for that kind of price its a good deal for a pple carrier. no doubt its chinese, but nowadays their products are blooming in the market. dont get me wrong, but its definitely a good sign that at least some pple are buying their product. it just takes time.
each car got their own pros and cons. no doubt about that. its up to you to change the cons to pros. i believe some forumites here still are so hard up abt european and japanese reliabilty saying all the good things only. which i believe is unfair. so what if VW, BMW, nissan or toyota has alot of features? what if you got the rotten apple?
car safety is impt. but with all the safety gadgets, it still depends on the driver himself. safety gadgets are meant to minimise injuries, not to prevent them. a common misconception amongst buyers here. for all you know, the most safest car could be the most dangerous car.
there is another pt i like to voice out. one of you questionned the TS whether he could afford a car. i believe he could because he already bought the car. no question abt it even to maintain it because it seems logical that he done his maths prior to booking it.

I thought 90Kmhr is Singapore's speed limit? Unless you are telling me that the driver was driving at 70kmhr on right lane? But that is not the car anymore isn't it?Originally posted by sinicker:i dont know. i'd guess it's the former!
prepare yourself dude! because you wanna switch to right lane you must speed a little mah. but that car just seemed to cruise slowly so ppl were able to close up the gaps and didnt allow her to switch lanes despite her signal lights..
oh she was doing ard 50 on lane 3 and wanna change to lane 2... she was alone in the car.. i dono if the car cannot accelerate or her driving not skilful.Originally posted by WHATODO:I thought 90Kmhr is Singapore's speed limit? Well every new startups are not easy, look at Japan after WW2 and Singapore after independence.Originally posted by sinicker:60% of product recalls in the USA are china-made products.
hopefully the cars wouldnt be in a recall anytime soon lest there's no way their reputation will ever increase.
