I find it weird

why nowadays SOME youngsters want to rush in getting their driving license? If they know how to drive safely, it's ok but not all know how to. My personal impression is that they want to get a license ASAP so that they can “cheong” with their friends

. (Always citing the excuses itÂ’s for convenience purpose) Frankly speaking, I seriously doubt what they said. I feel it's more for showing off purpose. A lot of incidents involved new drivers

. Of course by saying this, I'm not trying to condemn those who just passed. However, a recent survey showed that majority of the road accidents involved “newly graduated” drivers.
Ok Mr. Pea

, I think I might be able to tell you why the whole process took quite some times. ThereÂ’s pretty much things to learn about car. From teaching you how to change the wheel, check the engine oil, how to drive safely on the road, different kind of parking, E brake, handle emergency, situation, change lane etc etcÂ…A lot more to go.
I do not know if you are aware of this but Mr. Pea, the Practical Test date are not issued by the school or instructors (private). Instead, the date are issued by TP= Traffic Police. Reasons? All the testers are from the Traffic Police department & work under the same department and have nothing to do with the school or whatsoever. They have to check the validity of the testers available to conduct the PT= Practical Test for the students. In short, thereÂ’s a shortage of testers which explain why some PT date can be far away.

Hope this little information helps & I wish you good luck i.e., if you can get your driving license within 2mths time...

When he/she are just so desperate in getting the license but do not understand/respect the importance of individual safety on road, I think he or she better don't learn driving, hands off the steering wheel!

P/S: Why I can tell you this is because my friend is a TP and he explain it to me. Just for sharing.
