Dunno wat to do...

  Currently driving HONDA FIT (A) which is four years old now. The gear box seems like giving me lots of problem. While u acelerate, the car will tremble initially than move off smoothly. Flushed the whole gearbox and change umpteen time of gear box oil, but only give temporary solution, after a mth, the problem comes bk. Now more worse, even change oil also doesn't helps anymore. overhual or change whole unit very ex... any recommendation?

  overhaul or change the gearbox. its a known problem for the Fit/Jazz.

  but overhaul i check cost $1800. just afraid actually dun have to go up to tat extend, than i will be wasting my money. any better solution?

  Other than changing the gearbox oil, there isn't any other solution that doesn't require taking the gearbox out. Perhaps you can get advice from maybe the honda fit club, on what other alternative gearbox oil that can be applied to your car.

  Went to quite a few workshop... almost all said the same thing. change oil c how the outcome. if bo bian, got to overhaul... common problem for honda fit n vtec. thinking of changing a car liao...if not, lan lan think got to spend tat $$$...sian

  actually i love my car, but also think of changing too. as my loan not yet break even, so got to think twice n 1 more year plus my car loan break even, might even think dun drive anymore. predict driving on the rd can be damn expensive in coming future. now so many new implemetation, so got to really think twice.

  if u dun reali need to drive so often then get OPC.....
