Hi.Just asking for opinions - which luxury sedans is best for deal ard 70-90k and ard 2L?
The Toyota Mark X look nice - 82k by PI now,but i heard behind nt very comfortable.
Hyundai Azera too big,Sonata father was thinking but interior nt good.
Chevrolet Epica - How much is the 2.5L version?Look kinda luxurious inside since gt electric chair.Does it indeed have German-sourced I6 engine?
Toyota Camry - too ex in borneo motors.PI cheaper.this one look gd.
Nissan - Nt taking Cefiro,not refined and so called "luxery sedan"
Advices welcome.Family Budget ard 70-90k -
If seating 5 pple is a priority,strike Cefiro off list.
If not,then is quite comfortable. -

toyota camry i think that the ones from PI... come from japan one... is better looking than those at borneo motors one... if intending to get from BM.... get the 2.4 litre one with 5AT...
and there is always honda civic.... -
Dude, don't be fooled by PI ads in the papers... No way a Toyota Mark X or a Camry is selling at 82K. This price is with conditions +++ and is just listed as such in the papers to lure people to their shop/showroom... If you go to their shop you'll find that the real, transparent price for a Mark X/PI Camry is around 95-96K! I think the Cefiro is fine, just that the model is dated liao... new model probably will come out next year... Hopefully with the new VQ25HR V6 engine..

driving a mark x. paper advertise 84k. but when my dad and me went down, got some terms and conditions. in the end, my dad got it for 92k. cuz me and my dad simply like the car's looks.
dun get mark x if it's for family. rwd, so the rear mid passenger seat is compromised due to the shaft. anyway mark x is 2.5l. need more info can pm me. -
Toyota Camry is good..spacious too for behind passenger...my dad just bought the new camry ( not the PL one ) the engine is quite smooth and it can sit 5 ppl nicely just tat the center seat abit not comfortable..

Basically,we looking at luxury sedans ard 2L+ that comes with trims such as handrest,side door leather furnishing...electric seat nt impt.Legroom for front and rear preferly more than a Sunny for example.All 4 Disc brakes.
We currently own a Mitsubishi MPV and it comes with the abovementioned trims save for electric seat.So it would be suicidal to change to a 'basic' sedan.
The new Mazda 6 look tempting.Maybe we'll have a look when it hit the showroom.Anyone know when they come? -

Newly release cars are never cheap. Be prepared for heartache if you are thinking of getting the new Mazda 6. You should not limit your choices to Jipoonese cars only. Have a look at the conti cars too. They are not as expensive as they used to be. Now their prices are more competitive. If you know how to choose, conti cars actually provide more reliability and stability compared to other cars. -

mine is the 2.5l v6. engine is the same as lexus is250. engine is smooth and quite lively, u need it to move, it will(good for overtaking). low end torque is damn good but can't say so from 5000rpm onwards. accelaration is approx 7+ secs. steering is electrically assisted, quite light on the hands for those who are used to hydraulic assisted ones.Originally posted by cornyfish2000:How does the Mark X drive, engine and all?
