can anyone advise me,
between a Toyota Altis and a Nissan Sylphy,
which is better in terms of fuel consumption and may you also elab on the weight and engine capacity difference and engine technology , if any.

Some people say Corolla Altis very fuel efficient, some say Sylphy just as fuel efficient..So it's hard to know which car is better in terms of FC..we may never be able to tell..
Which one is better is too hard to tell as they are too close..your right foot will play a more determining role.. -
But if you are on a tight budget, Corolla Altis is the way to go because it's definitely cheaper than the Nissan Sylphy..and QUITE a lot cheaper..

Sylphy - 1.5l and 2.0l engine variants. Super comfy, spacious. Looks a bit weird to me - bigmama body with tiny wheels. Like skateboard.
Altis, not as FC able as believed to be. not wrong should be 10-13km/l or thereabouts. FC would depend heavily on the weight of your right foot, your driving style and travel profile.
Sylphy, what I read online, no practical experience with both cars. FC about the same as the altis. -
