Auto good because easy to learn, but cannot drive manual car..
Manual quite hard to master the clutch..I learning it now..so if you are timid, my advice is learn auto..but if you hiong one, can try manual..but if fail manual, waste money..
So got a lot of points to consider.. -

If you want to have a chance to experience driving next time when you pass, learn manual. Somehow I feel paddle shifts, steptronic etc just don't measure up to the experience of shifting gears and controlling the clutch.
If you are not very interested in driving, just want a license so next time can get from A to B in a car only, just like many Singaporeans, you may consider auto. After all, I guess its unlikely you will progress on to class 4. -

anyway, if u all need private instructor, can message me, i'll try to reply fast. I'm happy learning with my instructor because he's really responsible, structured, good tempered and patient...very unlike those who tell me that private instructors are not good ler...
i think it's important to get good instructors, esp driving ones...coz afterall, it involves our lives! :p -

btw, why need people to learn driving with you? it's quite fun learning by myself ler...no stress at all. hehe...and all at my own pace, no one to compete with and i think getting our driving licences should not be a competition...
