  Not just singaporeans like these cars. Everybody in the world also like them. Problem is how many people can afford them? All the cars you listed cost 6-figures or more in sg.

  Hey my friend, bmw is considered mid level in Europe especially the 3 and 5 series. Anyways the reason why it seems affordable is cos the europeans prefer diesels which are cheaper to maintain and to buy.
  
  The only reason why BMWs seem to garner premium reputation is due to the level of equipment it is shipped with when it arrives in SG plus the kiasu mentality of a typical s'porean is that BMW=class=got sh!t loads of $$.
  
  I lurve BMWs alot and if i can afford one i won't buy because of the brand but more for driving dynamics - though i prefer the BMWs of old without their electric assisted steering.
