basically don't go over straight on, but instead at an angle so the left or right wheel goes over first, thus lifting the centre part of the front spoiler which is where it generally scrapes.Originally posted by alleggerita:True. No point lying about owning a Ferrari. But one thing i don't understand. How to take speed humps "at an angle"?![]()
Agree with you, 20' is the absolute max size I think for a Ferrari. Heres a pic I got from another forum of an owner who put 20' in the front and 22' in the back, and in my opinion the back is just way over the top -Originally posted by dipsomaniac:I find it funny that some people will automatically doubt whether or not someone owns a Ferrari or what ever. There would seem little benefit in lying about such things surely?
Fact is, I was under no obligation to disclose that I own one or not; and I only did so because I've been lurking on this site for some time and felt it time to introduce myself, and as an owner felt I may be able to provide some insight on what it's like to own an exotic in Singapore.
Anyway, in answer to the questions:
Rims are polished HRE 547R's (19' front and 20' rear) shod with Pirelli P-zero.
It is also lowered with firmer racing springs, and YES I bang the nose A LOT! Undergroud carparks a no no and many speed humps have to taken at an angle. It's a pain but it's a price I'm willing to pay.
FYI I've seen pictures of F cars with 22' (and even 24') rims and to be honest, they look ridiculous. 20' is as big as I'd be prepared to go.
Cheers

Omg? Yours is a 20' and is really huge. I cannot imagine what a 22' or even a 24' rims looks like. As for the 24', I'm not sure it can even fit. Haha, as for taking humps at a slight angle, some roads are so narrow that you have to just go straight on.Originally posted by dipsomaniac:FYI I've seen pictures of F cars with 22' (and even 24') rims and to be honest, they look ridiculous. 20' is as big as I'd be prepared to go.

I understand that underground carparks are a definate no-no. There's an episode on Top Gear where the presenters brought the F430 spider (yours), Pagani Zonda F and Ford GT to an underground car park in Paris. They had a very hard time getting out. The Pagani needs to be striped for it to crawl out.
Just wondering, have you ever parked your car in an underground carpark?

Hmmn, ya, haven't seen the banana around eh?Originally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:Just wondering. What happened to this car? Haven't heard anything about it after it was allegedly sold? I think i may have missed out something. Ya, took this pic long time ago. Think it was March 07?

Maserati GranTurismo and Ferrari Enzo pics. Taken at Hong Seh Motors today. Boon Lay MRT was having pasar malam as well. Nice ramly burgers to eat as I travel towards Hong Seh Motors on 192.
Unless you do something drastic, it is extremely difficult to modify the engine of a Ferrari or Lambo. For the price the owners pay they expect the best right, and the engines are pretty much nearly tuned as much as can be. Can get a few extra HP by changing the exhausts system, but I believe thats about itOriginally posted by FatPenguin:I see.
Don't mind me asking, but have you done any mods to the engine?
Hardly see any exotics being modded (except for the bumblebee Murcielago, LOL.) except for a chipped Conti GT my dad took for a spin.
Cheers

Yep, Tubi is one of the most popular after-market exhausts that Ferrari owners replace their stock exhausts with. I think they mainly do it for the sound, I don't know much about the technical side of it but I've read that some after-market exhaust systems can add slightly more HPOriginally posted by FatPenguin:Hmmn, got a point there.
But there's the what, Tubi or whatnot exhaust?
Very nice pics! Didn't know they had Enzo on displayOriginally posted by honsq90:http://picasaweb.google.com/honsq90/Carhunting12?authkey=K_V9WTibBzQ

I guess so. I managed to walk in, didn't I?Originally posted by Elysium7:Very nice pics! Didn't know they had Enzo on display. So the general public is allowed to go there to look and take pictures?
No. 2 Ridley Park.Originally posted by honsq90:Anyone know which showroom has got a Pagani Zonda on display?
Err, yup, you are right in the sense that everybody have different opinions. But i just think their idea of adding a roof to a boxter does not turn out quite well (looks wise). The lines does not flow. Yup, thats my personal opinion. Btw, Jeremry Clarkson has the same sentiments as me.Originally posted by Exige60:???!!!![]()
Huh? They are nice! In fact they are one of my favourite Porsches around other than the 997 Turbo...I guess different ppl different opinions. I don't consider them rare though but since other ppl post, I just post too...

MM has a Flying Spur parked outside, my dad said.Originally posted by honsq90:I guess so. I managed to walk in, didn't I?
But be careful though, the staff there don't really look that friendly compared to the saleslady at Lamborghini Showroom.
