Agree.I really like the Cayman except for the rear.Originally posted by Exige60:???!!!![]()
Huh? They are nice! In fact they are one of my favourite Porsches around other than the 997 Turbo...I guess different ppl different opinions. I don't consider them rare though but since other ppl post, I just post too...
Yes! The rear is the worst part of the car. Front looks like any other porches. But the rear is ewww, terrible. Does not blend in with the rest of the car. Sorry for not being specific enough on which part is ugly.Originally posted by Oxide:Agree.I really like the Cayman except for the rear.
That one I have loh. I just want a close up shot. Not zoom from outside haha!Originally posted by FatPenguin:No. 2 Ridley Park.![]()
I think I saw that while I was on the train towards Boon Lay today. Just crossed Redhill MRT.Originally posted by FatPenguin:MM has a Flying Spur parked outside, my dad said.

Can anyone tell me how to visually differentiate a Porsche 911 from a Porsche Cayman?Originally posted by Exige60:I think the best part of the Cayman is the front...love the flosting fog lamps.Perhaps the rear is a little fat that's why you don't like it...
I don't like the normal Cayman rims. The Cayman S rims are much better. To me the ugliest car from stuttgart is the previous Cayenne.
look at the backside? 911 roof more sloping?Originally posted by honsq90:Can anyone tell me how to visually differentiate a Porsche 911 from a Porsche Cayman?
The easiest way I use to identify Cayman is to look for the small circular light near the bumper underneath each of the main headlights. I'm sure theres much bigger differences, but this always gives it away straight away for meOriginally posted by honsq90:Can anyone tell me how to visually differentiate a Porsche 911 from a Porsche Cayman?
Cayman is essentially a Boxter with a roof. Cayman is shorter, have a rather uneven sloping backside. The 911 on the other hand has almost flat sloping roof at the back. Cayman looks a little odd from the side, not as sleek as the 911.Originally posted by honsq90:Can anyone tell me how to visually differentiate a Porsche 911 from a Porsche Cayman?

It's not like I'm asking how to differentiate Cayenne and Boxster right? Lol.Originally posted by FatPenguin:*pengz*
Boxster has 2 twin exhaust. S has a big tip i think.
Based on the two Boxsters in my carpark...![]()
Base model are the ones with black brake calipers. S models have either silver or red calipers.Originally posted by honsq90:Now I see. How about differentiating Boxster with Boxster S, Cayman with Cayman S?

Yes, same chassis, just that they lighten some parts.Originally posted by nyox:now then i know the cayman is essentially a boxster with a roof! the side profiles are almost the same, sans the roof. thanks for enlightening!
1 more question. is the GT3 using the same body shell as the 911 & 911 turbo?
