so muz depend on wat things u are buying. in singapore don need to buy so expensive car. can drive from A to B can liao. even u drive a most safety car, it cant even hav the ability to protect u against bus, truck or any big monster on road. ur time is up means no matter how u siam u also will die 1 la. some ppl wan die also cant die end up body here break there break, worst 
. buy so expensive car end up 10 years down the road or 5 years down the road u sell ur car change car liao -.-. and buying a expensive car let say ard $60,000. plus ur road tax ur petrol ur carpark ur maintence, i think u can take cab for life liao.. now cab increase price, everywhere also c cab. even price increase i don think it can even b more expensive than u own a car. go calculate.

nano's objective is to allow families of 3 or 4 now riding a bike to switch to cars. in all fairness, this car is unlikely to make it to sgp, given the profile of its intended customers.
relative to bikes, it will be safer than a 2 wheelers. i think nano works in the context of india, but it is can also make great city car, or a car to run around the estate.
for its price, we need to pare down our expectations. just as there are $80 bicycles and $8000 bicycles, dun confuse the 2.
i wldn't mind it for my wife to get around to send the kids to school, market or drive within the 10km radius. beats taking the bus n much more control of time. -
Its not a good car lah, but can you guys think? they wont be so stupid to import to singapore, how much the COE already.
And you guys had discussed that the car and limitation. They probably come out with a better one.
Eg.
Aircon
radio
max speed increase
...etc etc
That will suits singapore .... If i am a car dealer of cuz i will think about this fact right? they will surely edit it or create a new model if they were to import to singapore.
Kelisia and kia picato are the low end cars in singapore, do you think they are good? Probably tata nano new facelift version or whatever can beat the price, and hopefully better?

Just imagine..the Tata Nano will cost about S$3,600 before taxes, COE and insurance in Singapore..after adding everything, it's about S$24,000..
And this is for a normal black plate car..imagine if you buy it as an OPC?
S$24,000 - S$17,000 = S$7,000
S$7,000 to own a car in Singapore? Gahmen must be cursing Tata!
