Dont be so mean lah..last time i also post question abt buying which cars and i was not flamed...Originally posted by spadeTwo:the gtr backseat no space to seat 3 ppl comfortable de
the new wrx is hatchback. backseats also should be quite cramp 1
and dont bullshiet with me that FC is high for MPVs.
cuz those 3 cars have even higher FC.
and looking at ur reputation in sgf.
it should be just another 'xiaoboi85' (those registered last time should understand)
if ur dad really so 'sport car enthusiast'
buy an m5.
Ok, i deduce that he does not need space as you have mentioned in your first post. If he does not need space. GT-R would be the best of the lot. Big cars and good handling doesn't often come together. A GT-R has 2 doors. How would your dad fit the whole family of 5 through 2 doors? It's possible yes. But I'm sure you guys would not like squeezing into a confined space for a road trip to M'sia. I would rather take a coach there instead!Originally posted by Shanghai_Grand:He claims accleration speed+Pickup is slow, considering its a V6
The car is quite jerky and plus limited top speed.
Handling is not nimble enough
Tires often loose grip easily when turning
thats what he complains.
haha... yes i vote for an M5 as well.Originally posted by spadeTwo:the gtr backseat no space to seat 3 ppl comfortable de

From this, you can actually see who REALLY REALLY wants the GTR... not his father imho...Originally posted by Shanghai_Grand:Hmm..
He might consider the GT-R and the X..
Right now, the discussion is still going on strong, but the GT-R seems to have a large majority of the votes.
(my bro, me , my 2nd cousin voted for the GT-R, while my mum voted for the Evo X.My father voted for the Wrx ba...)
from this can tell either u noob or ur father is juz humouring u as a kid...Originally posted by Shanghai_Grand:He claims accleration speed+Pickup is slow, considering its a V6

the cefiro's suspension is tuned for comfort... of cos the handling is not nimble lah.. plus its FF layout with such a heavy body....
tires often loose grip?? do u know what u are talking abt not??? if ur tires often loose grip means u are understeering most of the time u take a corner....
time to change tyres.....not buy new car.... its much cheaper..
car is quite jerky?? when?? define jerky?? and are u sure the cefiro can only go up to 140... even a vios can go up to 160....
dude.. i think u are living in fantasy land... to solve sitting problem buy GTR?? and asume it to have better FC than an MPV???
and ur list of cars are all sports breed... how to sit 5 "comfortably"??? i think u are barking up the wrong tree...

Well to be honest, he did say he wanted a sports coupe which was cheap , fast and could hold 5+ people, never mind about fuel economy.
Potential candidates included the [b]Porsche GT3 RS(Too expensive), Nissan Fairlady350z,Honda Accord,Lexus Is250, Mitsubishi Evo X.. Subaru Impreza Wrx (2007).
Thats what we discussed over a few nights with him, my mum and my bro.

The car is actually meant as a family car, so he wants the familly's take on the list of candidates.
1)Subaru Legacy
2)Subaru Wrx Sti
3)Mitsubishi Evo X
4)Lexus IS250
5)Honda Accord
6)Nissan FairladyZ How can this ever be a family car...??? Its a 2-seater...
which would you highly rate as a suitable car?
