Which would you choose regarding my father's background, family size and fuel economy?
With 300K, I rather get a family car (eg. VW Passat, Ford Mondeo or since you like Jap cars than get a Mazda 6 or Subaru Legacy or Accord) then spend the rest on a Lotus Elise S. My father owns a Volvo V50 which is also a family car and is large enough to fit 5 but much smaller than a Cefiro. I do not understand how you can say that a Cefiro is small let alone smaller than a GTR...??? And don't tell me u are gonna put a baby seat in the rear of the GTR? -
i'm beginning to suspect TS is just a kid not knowing what he's talking about.

from this pic,u can see that the gtr is strictly a 2+2 not a 2+3 vehicle. it even has speakers embedded in the middle and a partition for the drivetrain's independent rear mounted transaxle housing the transmission,differentials, and awd transfer case. no way u r going to fit 5 at all(unless u throw one into the boot)
if ur criteria is jap cars, fast, can seat 5, look for these:
marx x
honda euro r
honda legend
gs300
evo 10
legacy gt
cefiro 3.5(same engine as z)
toyota crown (not the taxi)
g36 skyline (get the 4dr version)
civic type r (4door version)
pls dont include these as there are 2seaters:
mrs
s2000
Z
coupes not suitable for families (2adults 1infant still can make do):
civic type r (kah motors)
intergra type r
g36 skyline coupe
GTR
i didnt include is250 as i find the rear too cramp. -

Just buy a Bentley Continental GT! Don't flame me! Haha. I'm just joking.... WRX is a good choice... Since they're clearing stock now... Should have some package.. If ur dad can afford a GTR... He wont even need to worry about the trade in value and depreciation of the ceifeiro...

You wanna sit 5 ppl inside a GTR? You must be either very short and very skinny, or you wanna make can sardines in the car. Its a 2+2 seater. LOL!
Test driving the Evo & GTR? As far as I know, there isn't any dealer that allows you to do so.
Anyway, you can go to Garage R to purchase the GTR. I know there's at least 14 ppl who have booked the car already.

I was referring to the 2007 Impreza Wrxsti, not the 2008 hatchback variant.
We'll see and decide when the GT-R is brought into Singapore, probably a test drive would suffice for the three cars. -
If your dad wants a GTR so badly and needs to seat five with load lugging capacity, then I suggest that he go look for a Nissan Steagea RS260 Autech version... GTR engine with a wagon body... if you want to know what it is google it...
