mark x or camry?

deciding between a mark x or camry as my next car...both from the same company i know but it seems like both have very strong points so i'm not sure which one to choose.
can advise me in terms of fc and efficency as well as stability thx. -
how old are u ? if u are the hippie generation go for the Mark X. and i believe it got a V6 heart.
the camry would be for the older generations i guess. which camry are u looking at? the PI or BM ones? i suggest go for the PI ones. they are made in japan afterall. -
camry looks better. i go for looks.

Do note that the Mark X is RWD,this means that the rear middle seat will not be so comfortable due to the raise plaform for the drivetrain.

this is a no-brainer... i will go for the mark x definately...

depends on your needs.
If you are young, and not many people will be siting in the car.
I will choose MarkX -
im middle age...37 this year. just want a large sedan that can fit my wife and two kids when we go for weekend outings, convenient for me to drive to work, and luxurious enough to earn the respect of clients when i bring them around. so i shortlisted it to camry and mark x as they are the most reliable and luxurious cars one can get for under $100k. as for the camry i'm looking at the 2.4l one, cos i think the 2.0l abit too small. still not sure which of the two cars to buy though..any info abt fc?

huh? 2.0l camry and 2.4l camry's interior space gt different meh? i thought onli engine capacity is different?
dun you think camry is too common on the road now? i would go for mark x at that age -
Mark-X,share the same floorpan & engine with the Lexus IS250,GS300[there is a 3L Mark-X],so for handling,go for Mark-X,Camry,all the same,Japan made or Thailand made,only body panels & lights is not the same....so for comfort,go for Camry.

the common variant is the 2.5litre one which has it engine from the is250...
and the car's platform is based on the new gs300...
but then again.. do take note that the jdm camry and mark x are from PI.... so be careful on this part...
if u want total peace of mind.. juz go to borneo motors for the thai camry... -

The 2 and 2.4L Camry body is the same. Just engine size difference. -

I have to say the Mark X tries so hard to appeal to young people, but I think it failed terribly..yet I still see a lot of people buying it..
But if you are not an uncle, I'll still tell you:

But no choice, it's TOYOTA themselves not allowing BM to import some vehicles that's only meant for domestic markets..so if you ask whose fault is it that more and more Toyotas are actually bought from PIs rather than BM, it's Toyota themselves..it's their own fault..they shot themselves in their own foot..

Anyway... Mark X would definitely be a better choice.. here's a good reason.. Some CAB companies are starting to use the Camry... lol... -

anyway, when taxi company starts using a particular model, it means that it's reliable enough and there will be aplenty of spares around..

are the camry taxis out already? i only saw them at kaki bukit technolink.. all no reg plates yet. this was 3mths ago.. -
mark x! im driving one. complaint is the rear axle cuz of the rwd nature of the car. low end torque is good. FC for me after 10k run in is abt 8.2-8.7km per litre. not that bad for a 2.5l
alternatively, www.mark-x.com is the place for u to know more abt both cars. its the local mark x club. lots of crazy ppl inside. hope to see u there.
or maybe u can describe more about yourself and we can give u more details.
