Some cars(commonly high end luxery's) such as Mercedes S-Klass has rear airbags....
rear airbags getting more common nowadays..more japanese cars' having tt too.

Can't really c the tyre profile, if it's on 14" or 15" rim and tyres is may skid at high speed cornering as the grip vs force is lesser. If its on 16"-18" the grip is better at high speed cornering. If u r not sure about the car better don't push over it's limit, power may over run the setup. That's why ppl change to lower profile and better suspension not only for better handling but safety reason on high speed driving.

It's pointless to speculate if the driver was speeding. Why would he or his passenger admit to it and implicate themselves?
Besides, a lot of things could have caused them to lose control - moisture, oil, bumps and even leaves and the wildlife. I've seen a pick-up truck plough straight on at moderate speed at the same bend before my eyes while cycling there...and I've also had close shaves with clowns who were taking the racing line through the forest.
