One of my friend who's driving indeed said that he hates lancer but because it is too highly computerized thus eliminating the art of driving (that's what he said).
U talking abt the EX or the older GLX lancer?
1980's Toyota Starlet, 1990's Nissan March and 1990's Proton Wira. I driven all 3 at school and it was pathetic
fiat punto. lousy acceleration. going up slopes is -.-|| even get high beamed by driver behind because slow to move off...........
it seems that in newspaper , those car that often get into accident are mitsubishi cars or mitsubishi lancer.
I haven't driven that many cars but top of the worst list includes:
Nissan Sunny - Too 'light' for driving. Didn't feel safe at all.
Mitsubishi Colt - Brake pedals felt insensitive.
Hyundai Tucson - Handling feels like a sedan but it's ugly. Period.
my friend's old Datsun Skyline when we were in uni...
an auto 3-speed, it was as hilarious as it was old.. you had to feather the accelerator because sometimes, it'll decide to stall...
apart from that, it had pretty cool "active suspension" because if you stepped on the brakes and pushed the accelerator a little bit, the car would dip like those lowrider cars in the US ![]()
but when it was cruising, it was pretty okay.. pretty stable at about 120km/h.. but then, it would be... heavy assed 2.4 straight 6 delivered enough torque to tow stuff around...
also, without any power assist, even us guys who were all over 6ft had trouble manhandling the thing... the ladies didn't have a prayer of driving it properly ![]()
p.s. we changed the suspension once because it was "worn out" and the new suspension lasted about 2 months.. that's when he decided to live with the wrecked suspension.. the car wasn't very comfortable at all ![]()
actually i am not very sure if your worst means difficult to drive, lousy on fuel consumption, poor performance, bad handling, etc etc.
perhaps you may need to fine-tune a bit of your definition.

becos of this:
i really wonder why some will come out with their own list when they havent got a driving license, driving and being a passenger are 2 different matters. the driver feels the car alot more than the passenger.
worst car that i've ever driven? thats gotta be the SAF landrover....the landrover defender is a good rig but the lads @ SAF ruined it with poor maintainence
I have only driven a subaru 1.6i and a toyota vios. What i can say is, when hitting 3k-4k rpm for the vios... The engine sounds terrible very scary...
i drove a kia picanto ... got zhng before .. my fren rented it .. n let me drive .. i got licence de ok .....
i tried the car ... hell .,. engine loud but bo power .. at expressway cruising oso can kena cut by van n lorry
