    • Before the current 3-letter plates beginning with 'S', there were 2-letter 'E' plates and before that, 2-letter S plates. The owner simply transferred it to his new car.

This number plate was sold recently.

What confuses pple is that they will think that the SP belongs to the Singapore Police Force. By right it is a rare vintage "SP" series plate. This series is used by Singapore police force if it is without a last prefix. This plate existed since the olden days and was retained until today. so very few left.

Singapore Police Force uses the prefix SPF, not SP (AFAIK). SPF1 is the Commissioner of Police Car .

      CJ ... i think is SJ1 or CJ1 forgot liao ....

As for S****TE, is some sort of foreign diplomat car ...But a lower status compared to S****CD plates.

SP1 is police comissioner. white mercedes E200.

SJ1 is chief justice, last time CJ yong was lexus ES300, now dunno what.

S****TE is trade envoy. for places like taiwan, not officially recognised as a country so cannot give CD, only can give TE.
