Originally posted by kajagugu:not very knowledgeable, but if you are looking for cars in SG's 2nd hand market, here are an additional few:
Nissan 180/200SX, even though slightly related to the Silvias
Toyota Altezza, dunno SG have or not?
AE86s are quite hard to find.
above are a few i've seen in D1. There are many more not in production/not found in SG, so like nightsky87 said, not worth mentioning.
hope this helps....
180SX/200SX=s13... juz intended for different market and differnet headlights nia...
same goes for 240SX=s14
as for toyota altezza... we do have a lot of it in sg... they are called lexus is200 here...

Thanks for the clarification :)
But rarely see the SXes around, so i choose to think of them as 'hatchback' S13s with diff headlights.
IMO, i would class the 180/200/240SXs in the same class based on the S13 platform with diff engine capacities. Just that S14 was based/evovled from the 240SX cos they share the same engine, if i can remember correctly :)
But really, thanks for the info, esp the IS200 one, will keep a lookout. Are there any Toyota-badged Altezza, instead of Lexus-badged??

Yes. In Jurong
And if you got the skills to control something with a wheelbase as long as it is wide, solid rear axle with no differential, single brake disc on the rear axle instead of one on each wheel and a stupidly high power to weight ratio for something that small, then it shouldn't be hard to move into cars.
