kpe to erp (82) being charge $2 anyone?

I just drive through the kpe to pie today at 12+pm and was charge $2 from the gantry 82 which is not oppose to be in operation.Anyone else?

Some factors for you to consider -Intended safety in the tunnel
ERP gantry wasn't in operation but yet operational
No indication of operationality or intended operationality
Contest the fact that this surprise to motorists would result in panic braking
The probability of a chain accident
Where's the safety now I ask you LTA? :)

Usually if no one has raised this issue, the "error" of it being in operation might still be in stance.
Drive past, take the cost of another $2, but this time with someone inside to snap a photo of it in operation!

seems you do not even know how dangerous tunnels can be once there's a fireif e tunnel is packed/ jammed, I see how many would survive due to lack of oxygen..
In fact I'd rather things back to e old days, make car ownership ex but car usage cheaper

Well, i think they're trying to come up with every reason possible to twist around every loophole reason that they've been giving so far.
First, congestion and now safety.
The rationale now is charging without notifying OR charging based on human activation error.
This issue MUST be raised.

want safety then charge $100 at the gantry lor.. confirm plus chop the traffic smooth flowing like water one.. even if got fire, just have to change lane and continue in ur journey.. problem solved right?
