Which is more durable - BMW or Mercs?

  Hi, which brand is more reliable and doesn't give frequent problems? I heard from my clients that Mercs don't break down easily while BMW tend to give more problems. Is it true?

  me driving lexus.. untill now only suffer an air-con break-down... cos my fuking friend smoke inside my car

  then the beemer is a better car.. the "wrecked" part = crumple zones..

  wah.. lexus no good.. my 10 yr old civic.. smoke inside with aircon on alot of times.. still running good.. xD

  yea. the new E class will have one dedicated to replace this series.

  with the rising cost of high quality materials and investors wanting to reap higher profits.. such durable car as the w124 can never be achieved.. gone were the good old days of hardy merc.. but till date.. reputable continental cars still have very tough bodies though the cheaper quality of materials used..

  how old are you? if mid 30s, bmw better for image ba. though im 22 and prefer a merc anyday.
