who failed the test through private instructor and would like to convert to comfort driving school..
you dun need to take the whole course offered by the school...
can take their Express Course (less than half price of the full course)... -

my advise is ... not worth driving without a license ... you can get yourself ban from driving for 5 years ...

spent bout $1700 altogether... 2nd time pass on 6 points... first time failed, demerit points was more like a rugby scoreline... took 6 mths to get license counting from the day i got my basic theory results... private instructor... wrote in twice to traffic police to bring forward test dates... both times successful... good luck dude!

IT'S NOT WORTH IT. CRIMINAL RECORD and BAN. not worth.
I work in HR deparment and saw many ppl rejected despite doing well in school just because they have criminal record from driving without license. -
took me 5 months to get my license

depend on ur tactics... heehee
if u pass ur basic and advance theory, u can straight away apply for TP then start learning while u wait for test... learn under private... may take u 3-5 mths for the test.
as for school, it's better to take it when u just turn 18 and that u have not even taken basic theory... u go through the whole system in 3-5 mths too if u chiong... chiong = 3-4 times a week -

to me, i think best is to get coaching from the school...
i went for the express course and the knowledge i got was more then what i have learnt from my pte instructor...!!!!
i went for 8+2 lessons from school and i passed the test liao!
