Err, hi, i have a delima, when i approach traffic light junction and i m in fourth gear, should i jus swtich down to 3rd gear and slow down or wat??
Any tips too? -
if possible, down to 3rd then 2nd
brake, close to a stop, clutch in
keep the clutch and brake depressed, change to first gear and wait for lights to change -
but when i say i approaching, the light is still at green, if i change down to 2nd, then err that will make me look no confident n humji leh -_- n sudden slow down behind later go car, then BANG.

when the light is at green, use the 3 arrows on the road as a guide
the first arrow, release accelerator
second arrow, if its still green, accelerate.
if its amber, get ready to brake...
by the 3rd arrow which is nearest the stop line, u should be stopping already IF there's amber or red light
to see if the light is going to change to amber or remain as green...
take a look at the pedestrian crossing
if its green light, and the green man is on or blinking, the light will remain green, so u can carry on accelerating.
but it the man is red, just be prepared to stop.
but just remember to take ur foot of accelerator on the 1st arrow.
have to wayang safety procedure to the tester -
wow. 10x man!

just go practise more... then you'll get used to that procedure.

always change down the gear when nearing the traffic junction.... eh when u taking ur test??? mine is on 23rd October.... a bit stressed out now....

my test is on the 17th of oct, next friday...worse..dunno how come so fast going to my turn liao. and the stupid revision keep trying to book also no use...coz no one give up slots...haiz

just drive as if it was your instructer beside u ....
i took my test while having a bad day ... no mood... but lucky it was in the morning.. went thru it in a breeze..
knock kerb once * parrell parking* stupid of me to try to rush thru it..
die engine once... becoz of the car infront roll back @ traffic light... i stun... clutch in... den release too fast ... haiz...
still managed to pass... and i knew i had alot of confidence..
i knew i was going to pass.. and no way i was going to let a few setbacks make me fail.... and after all... i did it -

u go take ur test in a few years time, and do it with the tester beside u.
go ahead, i challenge u to do it in a driving test -

Which driving centre you guys are taking from?
AMK is the easiest to pass then to KUTC then Bukit batok
Remember ,TP test engine braking requirement is gear 3, it is not ness to shift down to 2 unless you are able to. when you are reaching a junction remember to slow down, best is to enguage gear 3 then after pass the T lights then accel to gear 4.
Remember to check your blind spot while turning, both applies for circuit and road.
IF you are testing at KUTC pray hard it is not test route 6 or 7. it brings you to Eunos road and you will have to make a u turn in the middle of the Jam, that SUcks! -
