Welcome to the Adverts Thread of Trains. This thread is made for the sole purpose of tracking down advertisements found on Singapore trains. Feel free to post any sightings of train adverts you see on any SBST or SMRT train, or you may wish to update Former/Current changes in adverts. Below is a list (not fully updated yet) that shows what advertisements are on which trains.

Bear in mind that exterior advertisements on SMRT trains are fast disappearing, because the only batches of trains that feature these exterior advertisements are bounded to go for MLU sooner or later. So catch them while you can!

i'm curious to know what happens when all the 1st gens become refurbished... no more adverts? of they start dirtying the 2nd gens?

107/108 is still Fairprice XTRA NTUC as I seen it on EWL 2 days ago so I don't think 107/108 featured new ads.

I think they will do interior advertisement

C651 train body is very clean even they are over 10 years old so I don't think SMRT will anyhow dirty their carriage body.

Thanks, and in future for NEL trains no indication of exterior or interior is included. That's because SBST doesn't put exterior ads on their underground trains.

For now, all other trains will be labelled as "None" until an ad. pops up.

So far the SIEMENS C651 MRT train evern since they intro until now they do not have FULL BODY ad like the Kawasaki?

No. The C151s use aluminium body which is dull in colour, thus the idea of exterior advertisements was introduced. However, the C651s use stainless steel body and thus are shiny enough already. Putting exterior advertisements will spoil the beauty of the shiny body.
