      A man jumped off a moving shinkansen train on 22nd April, between 浜松 and 掛川 stations on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line. His body was later found on a bridge. It was known that he had used the emergency door open handle to open the normal cabin door of the series 700, 'Nozomi' number 150 train. 150 serves between Osaka and Tokyo Station with Kyoto, Nagoya and Shinagawa as stopping stations. 42000 passengers affected and trains delayed 3 hours maximum.

      Between Hamamatsu and Kakegawa stations...

      What was he thinking when he opened the emergency door of a fast moving train in motion?
