    • Well,i just sign up for M1 Broadband V2000.

Guess what?It took me like 4minutes to get on to this forum,2minutes logging in and 1minute to create a new thread and i finally got here !

And i called the M1 to ask , they say they can't do anything about it .

OMG , is this the best answer they can give .

I will show you people a speedtest result i got from speedtest.net .

This result might be the worst you ever seen .

Also i've to blame myself for not doing some research before purchasing it .

What am i going to do now T.T

My dad will whine at me >.<

And now the uploading of the screenshot i taken is getting me to burst .

    • You should have asked around or surfed before you signed up.   Recently, before deciding which to subscribe to, I called all the service providers and surfed the net for feedback.    Majority who use M! broadband curse and swear and advised people against using it.   When I called M1, the customer service staff was really helpful and honest.   He discouraged me to use it saying.  He was frank and helpful to reply me that it will not be that "smooth sailing".

In the end, I gave up on signing up because of the good deal offered by M1.

This I agree.   Singnet overcharged me twice.   The customer service really sucks.    Talked politely and clearly to the staff, kena shouted.    Other times they displayed that sort of I can't be bothered attitude and pushed responsibilities.

Sorry, don;t know if I miscommunicated.   I meant Singnet has good connection.   The problems I mentioned are from Singnet.

M1, good in customer service.   They charged unnecessarily.    When I terminated my mobile line with them, they were the ones who told me they will credit me the balance.   To my surprise, the bill they sent me they did not credit instead asked for payment.   VEry disappointed with them.  BTW, among the providers they are the most expensive.

    • I think Pacnet is the best overall..... Connection always smooth and customer service won't be like singnet make u vomit blood...

Bad customer service very easy, ask the person's name and demand to speak to supervisor/manager. Be demanding and it will scare the customer svc officer and he be ultra polite to you.

I did what you said, but still the singnet staff refuse put the call to the supervisor.  The very last time was really terrible, the 2 bloody Malay staff kept dragging time and playing games with me to refuse me to speak to the supervisor or manager.    Instead of putting my call thru to the supervisor or manager, they passed my call to each other, playing game with me.

    • For M1 mobile broadband, well I believe they are using satellite connection, that's why it seems sluggish/unresponsive at times since it takes time for data to travel. Customer service wise, I'm not sure.

For M1 and Starhub fixed line broadband, I'm not sure yet.

For Singnet, connection get dc-ed sometime for whatever unknown reasons. Customer service? As you can see from the above replies, I won't say it is bad.... It is so bad that I don't know use which word to better describe it.

There were a period of time when the disconnection was so bad (dc a few times a day) and I tried calling them several times to complain. The customer service officer keep on saying that their system shows no sign of disconnection and refuse to send someone down to check my line and give me the same bullshit solutions like "turn off your router and turn it on again" every time I call them. I'm like WTF?

In the end, I gave up. After the odex saga, I'm more sure with my decision to hop to other service provider when my contract ends if circumstances allow.

They should have a QSE/QSM hotline to deal with it. Trying calling it or threaten them u will call it. If they still bastard you, hang up and call in again kena another agent, then insist u want to speak to the supervisor. Wanna play around with them very easy 1 especially if u are the customer.
