    • I'm talking about a degree in social science[political science, criminal justice, psy] or even international relations.
How much will it cost me in total for a period of 3 years inclusive of insurance, housing and all other reated expenses?

    • This is just my rough guess ok.....

      Education - $15k to $17k per year
Living expenses (including accommodation, books, entertainment, food, public transport and health insurance) - $25k to $30k per year (depending if you are a big spender or not.)

      Hope that helps.

Yep. It can be less if you are disciplined with money. If you are renting a house, you need to buy furniture, pay rent, utilities bills (electricity, water & gas) phone bills, internet, public transport/having your own car etc. Everything adds up.

    • on one hand, you have those hongkie and indo and mainland ah xia kias ... driving evos and taking 6 years to finished a 3 year degree ........

on the other extreme, you have those indian and pakistani chappies squeezing 6 to a one room apartment (I'm not kidding ! ) and spending $80 a MONTH on food ....

      Laughing

you'll have to factor in a margin of error for the exchange rate ..... it can get pretty nasty for you if it goes up by just 10 or 15 cents ....

    • a quick search in the australian uni website shows a course tuition fees cost A$21,000 per year. the living expenses given in the estimate is about A$20,000 per year.
thats A$40,000 per year, or S$52,000.
