An American man who was born female but underwent gender realignment, has given birth to a female baby, US media have reported.
Thomas Beatie, 34, is legally male but kept his female reproductive organs after having breast surgery to remove glands and flatten his chest.
Both Mr Beatie and his daughter are reported to be doing well in a hospital in Bend, Oregon.
He was inseminated using sperm from an anonymous donor. <!-- E SF -->
The birth was natural, a source at St Charles Medical Center in Bend told ABC News, and took place on Sunday.
According to some reports, Mr Beatie had had a Caesarean section.
oh .... the "chap" is married too ..... to a real woman .....
I can only say WTF ! ..... what will they tell their kid the next time ....

you know, i have always wondered about FTM (female to male) gender realignment surgeries .....
I mean ... for males to females, it's easy, just loop off the unwanted bits and stuff two blobs of silicon upfront neh ? .....
you can take away something you don't want, but how do you create something you want, out of nothing ? ...
do they rob corpses and salvage bits from dead men ? ... do they fashion something out of bits of flesh ? ....
and this creature here ... does it mean he(she ? it ? ) has both the "I" and the "O" at the same time ? ... >.< !
