    • Hi all,

      I encounter this problem suddenly.

I can't save my pictures from Internet Webby as Jpeg. They only allow me to save as bitmap (bmp). I have double checked that the picture i wanted is in JPEG, but can't be save as JPEG.

Whats wrong with this and how to solve it?

    • Try select “all files”. Type the file name with the extention .jpg/jpeg. See if can or not.

    • Hello. Smile

Go into the Tools Menu in Internet Explorer (I assume that's the browser you're using) and then Internet Options. On the General tab you will find a button labelled Delete Files. Pressing that button will empty the cache and restore IE to normal operation allowing you to save images properly.

If that doesn't solve the problem then go to the Advanced tab and check that "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is not selected. Next press F5 to reload the page and try again.

    • If you use ZoneAlarm firewall, it causes this problem as well. There are some settings to change there, though I'm not so sure which.

It doesn't happen to all users... so I have no idea what causes it.

    • If I'm not wrong...it should be the Privacy component in ZoneAlarm (if ZoneAlarm is the problem in the first place).

You can try turning this Privacy component off, and see whether the situation clears up.
