    • Only your ISP is able to do it. Even with server logs, it’s not entirely reliable because the IP address can be faked.

    • SG IP addresses are dynamic. There's no way you can track him with just that one IP address.

Do you know any of his friends? Try calling them up and ask for his house number to inform his family members.

    • I don’t know. Just have his email address, friendster(set to private), hp no., bank a/c no, and his picture. I think my friend $ cannot take back already.

    • Got his picture? Then put on newspapers. Laughing

Since got his HP, try calling from a private phone to ask him back for the money. Private phone numbers won't show up, hopefully he will pick it up.

Tracing other parties through IP, hp no, bank account number, etc is against the law.

If he really owe you money and wanna denied, make a police report. With just the bank account number or hp no, they'll get him.

      Small Claims Tribunal

Small Claims Tribunals were established on the 1st of February 1985, as one of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore, with the enactment of the Small Claims Tribunals Act, Chapter 308.

The Small Claims Tribunals were introduced to provide a quick and inexpensive forum for the resolution of small claims between consumers and suppliers.

The initial monetary jurisdiction of the Tribunals covered claims not exceeding $2,000/-. In 1995, this monetary limit was increased to $5,000/- (and up to $10,000/- if both parties consent in writing). In 1997, the monetary jurisdiction of the Tribunals was further increased to $10,000/- (or $20,000 if both parties consent in writing).

The number of claims lodged or filed at the Tribunals has increased steadily, from a relatively modest 3,788 cases lodged in 1985, to 29,725 claims in 2004. This increase reflects the public's confidence in the Tribunals to provide them with a swift system of justice at an affordable cost.
