How to Add a Name to
the Taskbar in Windows Vista

Click on the Windows “Start” button, found in the lower left
hand of the screen. This will open a list of items, one of them
being “Control Panel.” Click on “Control Panel” to open it in a
window.

Click on “Clock, Language, and Region” and then “Regional and
Language Options” if you are in the regular view in “Control
Panel.” If you are in the Classic view in “Control Panel,” click on
“Regional and Language Options.”

Both of these methods will open the “Regional and
Language Options” window. Now, click the “Customize this format”
button, which will open the corresponding window.

Click the “Time” tab and delete the information that
is located in both the AM symbol and PM symbol boxes.

Type in the name or word you would like to be
displayed instead, such as your name, and then click “OK” twice to
save and close

found a way to disable the automatic memory diagnostic test
which starts everytime ur comp boots up.

- Open command prompt as Admistrator: by typing in start ''cmd''
right click the .exe file and then clicking on adminstrator.

- Then typing in the console: ''bcdedit /bootsequence {memdiag}
/remove'' press enter, after that you can restart your com. and it
wont start

If you suspect your ram to be at the root of the weaknesses of
your system, I suggest a little utility (included in windows
vista), which will check everything.

Do a search in the Vista start by typing: “memory”

Tool “diagnoses of memory” is displayed, click on it

The utility asks you to choose between an immediate test
(restart) or a review on the next restart.

Choose your solution and once it’s done it will display the test
results

i did a test on next boot up, and now my laptop does a memory
test everytime it boots up, how to stop it?( there's no other
options in the utility other than immediate restart and test or
review on the next restart....
