    • anyone has experience in using MT4?

      Page not found - /mt/mt-comments.cgi

Commenting is not working first of all, it simply does not show me any forms or whatever to comment.

When I tried using the signin widget, it showed me a "Page not found - /mt/mt-comments.cgi" error.

      My blog address is http://www.blueskywhiteclouds.net/

      Pls help!

Can you check that you have uploaded the above file in the correct directory?

    • Google found me your post at Sixapart's forum.

Since MT is a paid software, why not contact their support team directly?

I previously had problems with installation and had used full paths in config.cgi and added "BEGIN { $ENV{'MT_HOME'} = /home/blueskyw/public_html/mt/'; }" under use strict line in all cgi files.

Although I have not used MT personally, I would suggest changing the above setting to 'home/blueskyw/public_html/' and see if it works for you.

      Edit:
Ok never mind, seems like your search page and the others in the mt/ directory are working. Let me poke around your site and I will take a few more guesses later.

      Edit2:
Argh. When did MT became open-source?

    • What's the directory of MT?

Say it's in a directory called blog,

      Your link should be: www.example.com/blog

      That may work.

Sometimes re-direction will cause errors and it ends up can't find the /mt/mt folder, because there's none.
