    • As above, whenever i use iTunes to sort out my music on my iPod, my ipod will lose battery life. Today, after playing 20 songs from my ipod using my PC, the ipod battery went flat. There's even a warning beep!

Two weeks ago, when sorting out my album artwork on my ipod, the battery went flat as well. I wasnt even playing any songs and the battery was green before i plugged it into my pc.

Damn frastrating, issit my PC, ipod, or itunes fault? Any member here experienced this?

My iPod is the 30GB model bought in Apr'07.

    • Highly possible that the battery has died.Maybe you want to make a trip down to their service centre to replace your battery

    • Thanks for the replies!!

Maybe its my ipod problem since none of you have the same problem. I bought mine in Apr 07 and use wall charger most of the time. I'll bring it down to Apple one day. Will they change the batt only or replace the whole ipod for me?

    • may be due to cell imbalance.

      1. discharge your battery 100%
      2. charge it with constant current.. instead of constant voltage.
      3. repeat step 1 to 2 for a few times

do not charge using USB. USB uses constant voltage(5v) with might has cause this error. charge it with power socket.

Give you a new one. Your old one they will try fix it, test it, put new covers and sell it as refurbished ipods.
