I intend to play WorldOfWarcraft on my labtop,
reason why i want a gaming labtop,
-during break time that 1-2hours break...

Acer gives good value for $. Asus is slightly more premium

a few things to consider when buying a laptop:
Weight (1.8-3kg?)
LCD Size (12.1" - 15.4")
Processor (Intel Core 2 Duo > AMD Mobile)
RAM (1 - 2GB Min)
Graphics Card
----------------------
As for a gaming laptop, what kind of Games do you intend to play on your future laptop?
MapleStory/ Warcraft III - Intel GMA good enough
Granado Espada/ Hellgate London/ C & C 3 - At least a nVidia 7600 or aTi X1600
Anything higher - Try nVidaia GeForce 8800GT for laptops...but they will burn you, not just in the wallet, but energy consumption and heat dissipation.

Asus = Reliable but overheat
Acer = Cheap but as what u said. Some laptop lucky some not
HP/Compaq = Soso. Price also Soso
Sony = Expensive and not very good specs
Apple MacBook = VERY expensive and not very good specs. Not very high quality either. You are just paying for Mac OS X
Dell = Big Heat Issues Problems
Toshiba = Heat Issue
REMEMBER,If you buy your laptop from Courts,You can apply their 3 year excidental damage warrenty. Check it out:

Best of luck on your next laptop.

I Wish i have that kind of budget for a laptop, for $3000 you can get best of the best.

Best of luck on your next laptop.HP/Compaq is not the same thing. Under same company doesn't mean they are the same. HP laptops can be very expensive for average specs and are targetted towards another group of people.
There are also average priced laptops with a little than better specs, geared towards yet another group of people.
Compaq is geared towards yet another group of consumers.
And Courts is not recommended here except for newbies who basically know nothing. Go to Courts = tio tok
Same for Harvey Norman.
There's no big heat issues with Dell as far as I'm aware of. Other than the exploding batteries which was quite long ago...
Apple is simply not for gaming. For work, yes. Comparing Apple with Windows is like comparing apple and pear. Both are fruits, yes. But inside, everything is different.
