    • edit: out of point...

method 1: go do an advanced search for picture files and put the date modifed as close as the date you saved the file

method 2: if you use FF, then probably the browser would have rmb-ed the last directory you saved. try saving a new file and the browser should open up a "save as" dialog along with the last location saved.

    • It should be possible to find out, though it’s just a theory. As long as you use IE. Other browsers, I don’t know.

Just look through the date... see if you recognized something.

You need a GIF animator program for making a GIF file.
Just like u need a Flash maker program to make a Flash (SWF) file.

      Renaming doesn't help.

    • Nah, the picture doesn't tell the source, but may tell what editor edited it.

If using IE, as I've said, anyone is welcome to test out a theory with me. Mr. Green

Any other browsers, this theory will fail horribly.

Anybody interested, just read the above.

Download HijackThis, save it and do an ADS scan. Instructions below. Usually should find something named data002 or data00x (x is a number) for files saved with IE.

      [*]Open HijackThis.
[*]Click on Open the Misc Tools section.
      [*]Look under System tools.
[*]Click on the Open ADS Spy... button.
      [*]Uncheck (untick) these boxes:
Quick scan (Windows base folder only)
      Ignore safe system info streams

[*]Click on the Scan button. When done, take note of the results.
