method 1: go do an advanced search for picture files and put the date modifed as close as the date you saved the file
method 2: if you use FF, then probably the browser would have rmb-ed the last directory you saved. try saving a new file and the browser should open up a "save as" dialog along with the last location saved.Edited by abao 27 Dec `07, 12:42PM

actually i find out another way, I right click on the pic, I click open with and I open it with notepad but come out with this words:

Anybody interested, just read the above.
Download HijackThis, save it and do an ADS scan. Instructions below. Usually should find something named data002 or data00x (x is a number) for files saved with IE.
[*]Open HijackThis.
[*]Click on Open the Misc Tools section.
[*]Look under System tools.
[*]Click on the Open ADS Spy... button.
[*]Uncheck (untick) these boxes:
Quick scan (Windows base folder only)
Ignore safe system info streams
[*]Click on the Scan button. When done, take note of the results.
