help! my com can only play high definition audio!!

  i have a 4.1 sound system now and its spoilt. so now i changed to my room speakers which is normal 2.1. it says \that an audio device is installed and working properly but no sound comes out. same if i used earphones....no sound!!! what the hell?
  
  now my com no sound!!! help!!!

  is it realtek?
  
  check your realtek audio configuration
